CONSTANTLY TRAVELING TOWARDS THE SUN
Massimiliano Moro
Constantly Traveling Towards the Sun is a kinetic sculpture that focuses on an infinite loop around a circle of light, a timeless journey with no beginning or end. It invites viewers to explore the delicate dance of light, shadows, and reflections that fill the surrounding space. Allowing the viewer to lose track of time and discover a new perspective.

BLOOMS
John Edmark
Blooms are 3D-printed sculptures designed to animate when spun under a strobe light. The rotational speed and the strobe light frequency are synchronized so that one flash occurs every time the bloom turns 137.5 degrees--the angular version of the golden ratio (0.618...).

Playing on our natural instinct to express ourselves through movement and dance, Body Paint interprets our physical gestures into evolving compositions. Body Paint is about interaction experience, captured through this motion and the energy of the body.

Daydream v.2 is an audiovisual installation that distorts space, blurring the lines between what is digital and what is real. The piece transports visitors into a new dimension, making them feel as if they are being teleported into another world.

SWING
Rejane Cantoni
SWING is an interactive installation in which the viewer is asked to walk on the surface of the artwork, thus becoming a participant. The surface is composed of modular planes that move in all directions, like a seesaw. Each step the participant takes reverberates across the entire artwork. For every action, there is an equal reaction.

MICROMONUMENTAL MAPPING, THE ESSENCE OF CREATION
Limelight
Micromonumental Mapping, The Essence of Creation by Limelight was originally created to be displayed on the Opéra de Lille in France for the Lille Video Mapping Festival that was set to take place in April 2020. Due to COVID 19, the festival had to be postponed so the artists decided to downscale and project it onto a 1:40 3D model of the building.

RULES

RULES is a collaborative installation created by visitors over time based on three simple rules. The aim is to explore how new connections are created between people who share a physical space and that might not have otherwise had a pretext to start a conversation.

SEWING MACHINE ORCHESTRA
Martin Messier
Sewing Machine Orchestra is a sound and light installation composed of twelve synced sewing machines. The machines’ continual movements steadily increase in power and volume, gradually building to full speed as the accelerating rhythm creates a discordant, electro-acoustic concert.

SHIGETO: HOVERING
Conor Grebel and 79Ancestors
Hovering is a transcendent tale of life-giving water brought to a dying planet. Constructed largely from physical elements digitally-scanned in nature, the vivid audiovisual collaboration with Shigeto offers an extraterrestrial virtual world built from terrestrial artifacts. The project’s director, Conor Grebel, creates stunningly original visual effects by combining both modern digital and traditional analog techniques, often using nature or chemical reactions as his main subject. The collaboration was created for a music compilation LP called Territories — an audiovisual concept album curated by the 79Ancestors label.

SWEET SPOT

Sweet Spot is an immersive installation made of 19 miles of multicolor nylon string. Visitors activate the experience by moving; every new perspective reveals color harmonies. The installation brings awareness to the act of seeing and looking. The artwork is composed of 19 miles of nylon string, strung 12 feet high.

Ian Brill
Arc is an immersive, generative, audiovisual installation inspired by the experience of riding subways as a child and tells a fable regarding the momentous necessity of technology.
SUBMERGENCE
Squidsoup
Submergence is an immersive installation comprised of 8,064 individual points of light visitors walkthrough. The lights continually change colors in correspondence to music. Submergence creates awe-inspiring feelings of movement within physical space.

HUMAN STUDY #1, 3RNP
Patrick Tresset
Human Study #1, 3RNP is an installation where the human becomes an actor. In a scene reminiscent of a life drawing class, the human takes the sitter's role to be sketched by three robots. The drawings become part of another artwork titled The Collection which already includes more than 36,000 drawings.

THE LAST WORD
Illegal Art
The Last Word is an invitation to share thoughts left unsaid. Thousands of tightly rolled pieces of paper, dyed red on one end and left untouched on the other offer an opportunity to anonymously complete your conversations or explore the unexpressed sentiments of others.

KILLING TIME
Mesplé
Killing Time is a kinetic hourglass sculpture. When a viewer approaches the sculpture, an internal sensor detects their presence. A curated sequence is triggered, releasing a deep black liquid, ferrofluid, producing breath-like motion from and into the mouth of a polished skull.
